April 23, 2014 – Rabeea F. Omar and Dr. Michel G. Bergeron received a Tribute to Inventor Researchers of Universit\u00e9 Laval Award for their novel gel formulation for intravaginal delivery of antimicrobial drug for the treatment of vaginal infections. The Tribute to Inventor Researchers of Universit\u00e9 Laval recognizes the excellence and creativity of inventor researchers who have filed a new patent application in the previous year. Through this tribute, Universit\u00e9 Laval wishes to highlight the contribution of these\u00a0 inventor researchers to the community and to society in general. This event is organized by the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Creation. The 2014 winners were honored during the tribute ceremony held on April 23.
