Dr. Louis Flamand has been appointed Director of Pillar 2 on in vitro and in vivo characterization of SARS-CoV-2 variants of the CoVaRR-Net (Coronavirus Variant Rapid Response Network). The Canadian network, assembled in March 2021, aims to share knowledge on variants through different approaches: establishment of a biobank, a surveillance network, exchange of technologies and materials, liaison with other networks and scientific or governmental bodies, etc. Dr. Denis Leclerc is also a member of Pillar 2 of CoVaRR-Net.
